ODB++ is a proprietary CAD-to-CAM data exchange format used in the design and manufacturing of electronic devices. Its purpose is to exchange printed circuit board design information between design and manufacturing and between design tools from different EDA/ECAD vendors. ODB++ includes specifications of not only wire layer artwork and drill data, but also material stackup, netlist with test points, bill of materials, component locations, fabrication data and dimensional data.
