IoT Globiots Energy Management System Model
SOLUTION FEATURES
- Automatically collect energy parameter values: total accumulated energy consumption (electricity, tons of steam, m3 of water, etc.), instantaneous energy consumption (electric power, water flow, steam flow, etc.) and energy quality (electricity, water pressure, steam pressure, etc.) from energy meters
- Display current status, historical graphs of changes over time and consumption reports over time
- Immediately send warnings and abnormal events via web on PC, via applications on smartphones and tablets
- Send scheduled energy reports by email to registered users
- Manage users, user groups and accounts.
FEATURES
- Access anywhere with PC, tablet and smartphone
- Unified management of all forms of energy on one system
- Easy upgrade and expansion
- Quick installation and deployment
- Cost-effective, suitable for small to large energy management needs

DEPLOYMENT STEPS
Quick deployment in 2 steps:
Step 1: Connect the energy meter to the iConnector and server

Diagram of connecting energy meters to iConnector
Energy meters are connected to each other and to the iConnector via RS485/Modbus RTU port in a bridged form using anti-interference twisted pair communication cable or wireless network or a combination of the two. Each iConnector can connect up to 31 energy meters and monitor up to 64 parameters. Energy meters need an RS485 connection port that supports Modbus RTU communication standard. If the meters, sensors, and energy measuring devices have different output signals, a signal converter to RS485 Modbus RTU is required. The iConnector supports the connection of multiple energy meters and other meters, sensors, and energy measuring devices as shown below:

Set up hardware to connect iConnector to private server or cloud server: insert SIM for iConnector 3G or plug LAN cable for iConnector Ethernet or set up wifi network for iConnector wifi

Step 2: Configure the system, devices, and parameters remotely via the web
Power up all system devices, then log in to the web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox...) with the provided ULR, user, and password to configure iConnector, parameters, warnings, events, dashboard interface, reporting interface, automatic email, automatic SMS, users, and user groups, then synchronize the configurations to the remote iConnector. After the configuration is complete, customers can access and use the software to manage energy.
